Since 2011,Tunisia has been living under the pressure of an economic crisis, deepened by the repercussions of the health crisis caused by the spread of COVID-19 and the inconsistency between authorities. Facing the seriousness of the current financial and economic situation, voices of economic experts and political actors are divided between those who believe that the signs of the bankruptcy of the Tunisian state have loomed on the horizon; and those who are calling the government to implement a more comprehensive rescue program as soon as possible, to restore levels of growth in the short term, and to curb the damage caused by the pandemic.
