#Zaama Does Tunisia guarantee women's rights?

Tunisia has committed, since its independence, to a range of laws and treaties to protect women's rights and grant them equal rights with men in work, education, politics, and social life. These include the Personal Status Code, the Law on Violence against Women, and the Nationality Law which allows Tunisian mothers to grant nationality to their children.

In the fifth episode of the #Zaama show, they discussed the two contrasting arguments:

Marwa AlMoussi represented the support team, accompanied by Salim Ben Abdullah and Ayman AlMaliki, and their guest was Asmaa Bettaieb, a lawyer, and president of the Tunisian League of Women's Rights in the National Women's Union.

Marwa AlFahri represented the opposition team, accompanied by Lanouer Seddik, and Safaa Ghabi and their guest was Ahlam Bouserwel, a civil society activist and a member of the executive board of the Association of Democratic Women.
